ASRock quietly launched the Arc A770 16GB graphics card, Priced at $329
Recently, on the international e-commerce platform Newegg, ASRock discreetly introduced a 16GB version of the Intel ARC A770 graphics card, priced at $329. Launching a new product is typically accompanied by vigorous marketing and promotion; however, ASRock has remained distinctly subdued, issuing no public statement. Indeed, even their official website is devoid of detailed information regarding this graphics card.
From the product page on the e-commerce platform, it appears that this Arc A770 16GB belongs to ASRock’s Phantom Gaming series. In terms of aesthetics and specifications, it mirrors the previously launched Arc A770 8GB, maintaining the same thermal design. Both graphics cards share a frequency of 2.2GHz, which is 100MHz higher than the reference edition. The singular alteration lies in the memory capacity, which has been expanded from 8GB to 16GB, implying a probable enhancement in memory speed to 17.5 Gbps.
Earlier, Intel announced that it would cease production of the Arc A770 Limited Edition. However, other partners will continue to provide ARC A770 graphics cards equipped with the same GPU and accompanied by 16GB of memory. With the release of this graphics card, Intel’s Arc A770 graphics card family now encompasses ten models, half of which are 16GB models, including the now-discontinued Arc A770 Limited Edition.
It is understood that the ASRock ARC A770 16GB graphics card measures 2.8 slots in thickness, adopts a tri-fan design, employs a dual 8-pin power supply, and its TDP is 225W. Currently, on the Newegg website, the card is priced at $329.99, which is marginally lower than the previous A770 Limited Edition version, but $50 more than the 8GB version.
