ASRock Launches 4X4 BOX-7000 Series Mini PC
ASRock announced the launch of the 4X4 BOX-7000 series mini PC, equipped with AMD Ryzen 7000U series APU. The 4X4 BOX-7000 series is divided into two products, 4X4 BOX-7735U/D5 and 4X4 BOX-7535U/D5, corresponding to Ryzen 7 7735U and Ryzen 5 7535U respectively.
The overall size of the 4X4 BOX-7000 series mini PC is 110 x 117.5 x 47.85 mm, and the weight is 1kg. The processors equipped with it can be AMD Ryzen 7 7735U and Ryzen 5 7535U, both based on Zen 3+ architecture core, L3 cache is 16MB, manufactured with TSMC 6nm process, and TDP is 28W. Ryzen 7 7735U has 8 cores and 16 threads, the base clock is 2.7 GHz, the boost clock is 4.75 GHz, the iGPU is Radeon 680M, it has 768 stream processors, and the clock is 2200 MHz. Ryzen 5 7535U has 6 cores and 12 threads, the base clock is 2.9 GHz, the boost clock is 4.55 GHz, the iGPU is Radeon 660M, it has 384 stream processors, and the clock is 1900 MHz.
4X4 BOX-7000 series mini PC is equipped with two DDR5 memory slots (SO-DIMM), which can support up to 64GB of DDR5-6400 memory; provides a PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 Key M (2242/2260/2280 specifications) slot and a SATA 3.0 for storage expansion; support Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2; equipped with two network card interfaces, namely Realtek RTL8111FPV (1 Gbps/support DASH function) and RTL-8125BG (2.5 Gbps); equipped with one HDMI 2.1 interface (supporting 8K@60Hz), one DP 1.4a interface, two USB4 interfaces (supporting DP 1.4 mode video output), supporting up to four display outputs; there’s also a USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A port, two USB 2.0 ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
In addition, the 4X4 BOX-7000 series mini PC has an onboard TPM 2.0 module, which supports Windows 11 and VESA installation. A mini PC can be mounted to the back of the monitor to save desk space. It is not yet clear when the ASRock 4X4 BOX-7000 series of mini PCs will be on the market, as well as the price.
