Intel B660 and H610 motherboards have appeared on the market

Intel will soon provide more mainstream models of Alder Lake products to the market, and other 600 series chipsets will follow, including H670, B660, and H610 chipsets, providing different combinations for users who purchase the 12th generation Core series desktop processors. In addition, dozens of motherboards based on the H670, B660, and H610 chipsets have been leaked on the Internet, from brands such as Asus, MSI, and ASRock. These motherboards have entry-level models as well as mainstream models, including ATX, mATX, and ITX specifications.

Although there is still some time before Intel’s official release, on Chinese online trading platforms, sellers have begun to sell B660 and H610 motherboards, such as ASRock H610M-HDV/M.2 and B660M-HDV. ASRock H610M-HDV/M.2 belongs to the cheaper Alder Lake platform motherboard, which uses a 7+1 phase VRM design and two DDR4 memory slots, one M.2 slot, four SATA ports, one PCIe x16 and two PCIe x2, equipped with one DP, one VGA, and one HDMI port, and another M.2 slot for Wi-Fi expansion, the price is 549 RMB or $86 US. B660M-HDV is similar to H610M-HDV/M.2, except that in the original configuration, an additional M.2 slot and more USB ports are provided, and the price is 639 RMB or $100 US.

If users need more functions, the seller also provides B660M PRO RS and B660M-HDC, both power supply and port will be better, and the price will be higher. In addition to ASRock, there are actually other brands of B660 motherboards appearing on the online trading platform, but they are positioned higher than ASRock’s products and are more expensive.
