AOC launched two 27-inch 2K high refresh rate monitors
AOC launched new gaming monitors, this time two 27-inch 2K monitors AG275QX and AG275QXN. The biggest difference between the two is that the former uses an IPS panel and the latter uses a VA panel.
The refresh rate of the AG275QX with an IPS panel is 170Hz. In addition to FreeSync Premium, it also has G-Sync Compatible certification and also has VESA DisplayHDR 400 certification. In terms of color, it has 8-bit+FRC color depth and 1.07 billion colors, supporting 94% of DCI-P3 and 98% of the sRGB color gamut. An IPS panel with such a color gamut should have a good performance in color rendering.
As for the AG275QXN, it uses a VA panel, and the refresh rate is slightly lower than that of the AG275QX, which is 165Hz. Unlike the AG275QX, the AG275QXN is not FreeSync Premium or G-Sync Compatible certified but still has variable refresh rate capabilities. In terms of color, AG275QXN also supports 94% DCI-P3 and 98% sRGB color gamut, but the color depth is only 8-bit, plus the unique characteristics of VA panels, therefore, the picture performance of AG275QXN may be different from that of AG275QX.
Both monitors come with the same stand for height, pan, and tilt. However, according to the official website, the horizontal rotation angle of the AG275QXN is 10 degrees smaller than that of the AG275QX. The interface is the same, with 2 HDMI 2.0, 2 DP 1.4, and 4 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A interfaces. As for different picture modes, various auxiliary functions such as dark enhancement, independent front sight, etc. are also readily available.
The two monitors will be available this month, priced at £339.99 and £279.99 respectively.
