AOC announces AGON AG456UCZD gaming monitor
Recently, a new gaming monitor from AOC, designated AGON AG456UCZD, has surfaced on a display specification site, with its market launch anticipated in the near future. Speculation suggests that the display panel integrated into this model is akin to those found in the LG UltraGear 45GR95QE and the Acer Predator X45.
The AGON AG456UCZD boasts a minimalist bezel design, exuding a pronounced esports aesthetic, and presenting a robust and sturdy appearance. It features a 44.5-inch curved OLED panel with an 800R curvature. The depth of color is 10-bit, providing viewing angles of 178 degrees both horizontally and vertically. Its aspect ratio stands at 21:9, its resolution at 3440×1440, and it flaunts a refresh rate of 240Hz. The peak luminance touches an impressive 1000cd/m², while it offers a static contrast ratio of 1,500,000:1 and a lightning-fast response time of 0.03ms. Covering 98.5% of the DCI-P3 color spectrum, its color accuracy remains impeccable with a Delta E value of less than 2. Moreover, the monitor incorporates a TÜV Rheinland low blue light hardware solution, ensuring flicker-free visuals and Eyesafe 2.0 certification, while an anti-glare, low reflection coating enhances the viewing experience. AOC has further adorned it with its unique Light FX ambient lighting system, offering 15 lighting modes and over 100,000 colors, delivering an immersive ambiance for the gaming aficionado.
In terms of connectivity, the AGON AG456UCZD gaming monitor is equipped with two HDMI 2.0 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4, a Type-C port supporting 90W PD charging, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also functions as a hub, presenting four USB 3.2 Gen1 ports for peripheral connectivity, complemented by dual 8W speakers. The ergonomically designed adjustable stand allows a height adjustment range from 0 to 100mm, horizontal swivels from -15° to 15°, and tilt angles between -5° and 15°. Furthermore, it accommodates a 100 x 100 mm VESA mount, facilitating gamers who prefer arm mounting solutions.
