AMD Ryzen 7 7800X and Ryzen 3 7300X appear on Geekbench
AMD’s first release of Zen 4 architecture Ryzen 7000 series processors has a total of four, including the Ryzen 9 7950X, Ryzen 9 7900X, Ryzen 7 7700X, and Ryzen 5 7600X. Compared with the previous Zen 3 architecture Ryzen 5000 series processors, the slightly lower-positioned Ryzen 7 7700X is used, replacing the Ryzen 7 5800X.
Many people are curious about the specifications of the unseen Ryzen 7 7800X, and according to the Geekbench database, this processor will be 10 cores and 20 threads, becoming the first Ryzen processor with this configuration. This means that the Ryzen 7 7800X will have two CCDs and the L3 cache will reach 64MB. The test results show that the boost clock can reach up to 5.4GHz, and the single-core and multi-core benchmark scores are 2097 and 16163 respectively.
Somewhat surprisingly, the Ryzen 3 7300X also appeared in the Geekbench database. This is a processor with 4 cores and 8 threads, the boost clock is up to 5GHz, and the single-core and multi-core benchmark scores are 1984 and 7682 respectively.
In the past two or three years, AMD has been in a state of semi-abandonment in the mid-to-low-end market. The new architecture has not been introduced into the product line for a long time. It will take a long time to update, and the shipment volume is not high.
In fact, earlier, the Ryzen 7 7700 also appeared. Like the Ryzen 7 7700X, it has 8 cores and 16 threads, and it may only be for OEM manufacturers. It is rumored that its base clock and boost clock are 3.8GHz and 5.3GHz respectively, the TDP is reduced to 65W, and the single-core and multi-core benchmark scores are 2062 and 12685 respectively.
