AMD releases Radeon RX 6800 XT series graphics cards

AMD officially released AMD Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards. This is the first product to use RDNA2 architecture. The price starts at $579.

There are three AMD 6000 series graphics cards, namely RX 6900 XT, RX 6800 XT, RX 6800, which goes up against NVIDIA’s latest high-end graphics cards RTX 3070, 3080, and 3090.

These three products are based on AMD’s latest RDNA 2 technology, which also exists in PS5 and Xbox Series X. These latest Radeon graphics cards will support hardware-accelerated ray tracing for next-generation games. AMD is expected to be available on 4K and 1440p PCs.

The first is AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT, with 72 computing units, 128 MB of new AMD Infinity Cache, and 16GB of dedicated GDDR6 video memory.

AMD Radeon RX 6800 graphics card has 60 computing units, 128MB of new AMD Infinity Cache, and up to 16GB of GDDR6 video memory.

AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card uses AMD RDNA 2 architecture, with 80 computing units, 128 MB of new AMD Infinity Cache, and 16GB of dedicated GDDR6 video memory, which can bring ultra-high frame rates and a high-level 4K resolution screen gaming experience. The design of RX 6900 XT is almost the same as RX 6800 XT.

In terms of price, the RX 6800 and Radeon RX 6800XT graphics cards are priced at $579 and $649, respectively. AMD Radeon RX 6900XT is expected to be available on December 8, 2020, priced at $999.
