AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT has been overclocked to 3321 MHz

In terms of frequency, the RDNA 2 architecture has very good potential. After the launch of the Radeon graphics card with the Navi 21 core, many overclocking enthusiasts have tried to impact overclocking records. In particular, AMD’s partners later launched products with specially selected Navi 21 XTXH cores, which have higher overclocking performance, and the manufacturer also lifted the 3 GHz limit on the BIOS, making recent overclocking records continue to be refreshed.

Recently, manufacturers such as Sapphire, PowerColor, and ASRock adopt the top Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card with Navi 21 XTXH core, and even some products will use water cooling solutions, and the factory settings are generally above 2.5 GHz. Among them, the Radeon RX 6900 XT Toxic Extreme Edition launched by Sapphire is the most aggressive in factory settings, with a frequency of 2730 MHz, which is very amazing.

According to Twitter user @FlanK3rXS, this time the OGS team from Greece used PowerColor’s Liquid Devil AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT Ultimate. After many attempts, it was overclocked to 3321 MHz, surpassing the German overclocking enthusiast Der8auer. The result (3225 MHz), once again refreshed the GPU overclocking record.

The difference is that this overclocking record also comes with benchmark test results, showing 41069 points in the 3DMark Time Spy Extreme graphics test, and a comprehensive score of 37618 points, which is the first place in the single GPU ranking, which is very powerful. At present, the Navi 21 XTXH core has increased the limit to 4 GHz. In the future, the liquid nitrogen cooling method will continue to be used on these customized Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics cards. It is possible that the record will continue to be refreshed, reaching a frequency of 3.5 GHz or higher.
