As always, for PC hardware fans, the new year starts with a big CES exhibition. Next year’s CES 2023 will focus mainly on laptops, and new CPUs and GPUs will be available in the next few weeks, among which AMD and Nvidia have determined the time of their launch and are making relevant preparations.
Dr. Lisa Su, CEO of AMD, will deliver a live keynote speech at CES 2023 next year at 6:30 pm Pacific time on January 4, 2023. The venue is the Palazzo Ballroom at The Venetian in Las Vegas. At that time, Dr. Lisa Su will share AMD’s vision on how high-performance and adaptive computing can change lives by solving the world’s toughest problems.
AMD is expected to bring non-X series Ryzen 7000 series desktop processors, as well as new Ryzen processors for mobile platforms, and possibly mobile graphics cards based on the RDNA 3 architecture. Unlike Nvidia’s event, AMD’s event will be face-to-face and will be live-streamed at the same time.
Nvidia will give a virtual special speech at 8:00 a.m. Pacific time on January 3, 2023, which means that it is likely not a live broadcast, but a recorded video, and it does not necessarily have to be hosted by CEO Jensen Huang. This time Nvidia will bring the GeForce RTX 4070 Ti, as well as the GeForce RTX 40 series for laptops.
Intel has not yet confirmed the specific time for any press conference at CES 2023, but only confirmed that it will participate in CES 2023. It is rumored that Intel will launch more Raptor Lake processors on January 3, 2023, including the 13th generation Core processors for desktop and mobile platforms, and the H770/B760 chipset. It will also bring the Core i9-13900KS, the first 6GHz x86 processor.
