ADATA Launches LEGEND 960 MAX: Compatible with PlayStation 5 storage expansion

ADATA announced the launch of the LEGEND 960 MAX SSD. This is an M.2 2280 product, using a PCIe 4.0 x4 interface SSD, equipped with a radiator that meets the requirements of the PlayStation 5 game console, and also won the GOOD DESIGN Award in Japan.

LEGEND 960 MAX is part of the original LEGEND 960 series product line, supports NVMe 1.4 and is equipped with DRAM cache and SLC Cache. Performance in system loading and data caching can be advantageous. Its highest sequential read and sequential write speeds reach 7400 MB/s and 6800 MB/s, respectively, four times faster than ordinary PCIe 3.0 SSDs, and 4K random read/write is 750K/630K IOPS, which enables smoother multitasking, good backward compatibility with PCIe 3.0 for added convenience, and LDPC and AES 256-bit encryption to ensure users’ data remains accurate and secure.

ADATA has previously introduced that the LEGEND 960 series SSD can meet the expansion needs of Sony PlayStation 5 game console storage space, and can provide a smooth and lag-free gaming experience after optimization. The radiator equipped with the LEGEND 960 MAX has a unique fin design, which increases the heat dissipation efficiency by 40%, and the size design conforms to the design of the storage expansion slot of the PlayStation 5 game console. In addition, LEGEND 960 MAX provides high-performance support for advanced design applications such as 3D animation, game design, virtual art, and more.

ADATA did not disclose the specific price and listing time, and the official will provide a five-year warranty for the LEGEND 960 MAX.
