Acer support 13th Gen Intel Core processors on the Predator Orion 7000 (PO7-650) series desktops

Acer announced that its Predator Orion 7000 (PO7-650) series of gaming PCs support Intel’s latest 13th-generation Core processors, further enhancing the gaming performance of the product. Acer says this upgradable gaming PC is designed for hardcore gamers and content creators to meet the performance demands of high performance and multitasking.

The Predator Orion 7000 gaming PC is available with up to an Intel Core i9-13900K processor, up to 64 GB of DDR5-4000 memory, and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 3090 graphics card. The host also supports a range of storage options (including solid-state drives and mechanical hard drives), equipped with two M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSDs and two 3.5-inch SATA3 HDD expansion slots. There’s also a 2.5-inch USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C hot-swap expansion bay on top of the case.

Predator Orion 7000 gaming desktop provides 10 USB ports (including Type-A and Type-C), including three USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports and one USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port on the top. On the back are three USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A ports, one USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C port, and two USB 2.0 ports. In addition, it is also equipped with a 2.5G wired network card (Killer E3100), built-in Wi-Fi 6E (Intel AX211), and supports 2×2 MU-MIMO technology, etc., providing players with faster and more agile network connections for a better gaming experience.

In terms of chassis design, the Predator Orion 7000 gaming PC adopts a tool-free disassembly design and a transparent tempered glass side panel that meets the EMI standard. In the host, the CPU is equipped with an integrated water cooling radiator, and also uses Acer’s Predator FrostBlade 2.0 cooling fan, including two 140mm fans in the front and a 120mm fan in the back, players can adjust the ARGB lighting effect and fan speed through the integrated PredatorSense software. Acer said that the FrostBlade fan used in this host uses special ceramic bearings, which are very durable. The design of the fan blades can increase airflow and heat dissipation quickly. It is optimized to reduce vibration and noise, and it also has ARGB lighting effects.
