Acer releases Swift Go series, equipped with 13th-gen Core and OLED screen
Acer announced the launch of the Swift Go series of notebooks to further expand its Swift product line. The new series uses an OLED screen with a display ratio of 16:10, a 14.9mm thick aluminum alloy body, and is equipped with Intel’s latest 13th generation Core H-series processor.
The Swift Go series has been certified by the Intel Evo platform and is divided into two products, Swift Go 16 (SFG16-71) and Swift Go 14 (SFG14-71). The former is a 16-inch 3.2K OLED screen (3200 x 2000), with a frame width of 4.2mm and a weight of about 1.6kg. The latter is a 14-inch 2.8K OLED screen (2880 x 1800), with a frame width of 4.15mm and a weight of less than 1.3kg. These screens have a refresh rate of 120Hz, a maximum brightness of 500 nits, a DCI-P3 color gamut of 100%, and optional touch functions. Acer is currently applying for Display HDR True Black 500 certification.
The Swift Go series adopts an upgraded TwinAir dual fan system, D6 dual copper cooling pipes, and an air intake keyboard, which have high heat dissipation efficiency. Its maximum configuration is 16GB of LPDDR5 memory and 2TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage, providing a backlit keyboard and OceanGlass touchpad, which makes the browsing and sliding experience smoother and more efficient. It is also equipped with a Thunderbolt 4 port, HDMI 2.1 port, MicroSD card reader, Wi-Fi 6E wireless network, and a 1440P webcam.
The new laptops feature AI-based PurifiedView video conferencing features, including background blur, automatic framing, and eye contact; the network camera can provide high-quality images even in low light through Acer’s Temporal Noise Reduction (TNR) technology; PurifiedVoice technology with AI noise reduction function allows video conferencing and online learning to enjoy an excellent audio-visual experience. In addition, users can also connect Android or iOS mobile phones through Intel Unison.
