Ace Attorney 456 will be released early next year

CAPCOM has announced, during its ‘Capcom Showcase’, that it is currently remastering the fourth, fifth, and sixth installments of its courtroom debate game series, ‘Ace Attorney’. These remastered versions are set to be launched in the early part of 2024 as a special compilation titled ‘Ace Attorney 456’. The collection will be available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC platforms.

‘Ace Attorney 4’ was originally released on the NDS platform on April 12, 2007. Set seven years after the events of ‘Ace Attorney 3’, it unfolds the narrative of a fledgling lawyer, Apollo Justice, defending his illustrious predecessor, Phoenix Wright. The game is divided into four chapters, the last of which recounts, in a flashback, the circumstance of Wright’s disbarment.

‘Ace Attorney 5’, which launched on the 3DS platform on July 25, 2013, puts players in the role of Phoenix Wright, who, a year after the events of ‘Ace Attorney 4’, returns to the legal profession to ‘end the dark age of the law’ and vindicate his clients in court.

‘Ace Attorney 6’, released on the 3DS platform on June 9, 2016, has players embodying both Phoenix Wright and Apollo Justice. They respectively stand in courtrooms in the Kingdom of Khura’in and Japan, striving to exonerate their clients.

Additionally, CAPCOM revealed that as of March 31, 2023, the global cumulative sales of the ‘Ace Attorney’ series have exceeded ten million copies.
