Windows 11 can run Android apps natively

Microsoft held a press conference yesterday night to officially announce the Windows 11 system. Of course, it is only an introduction and announcement, not an official version of this system.

After the image file was leaked in advance, most of the features of Windows 11 have already met with us in advance, but as we guessed, there are still many hidden features.

When it is said that hiding is not accurate, after all, these functions are only planned and have not yet been developed, so interested fans can only wait for the subsequent changes in the beta version.

In addition to the centered start menu and various user interface style changes, Microsoft also announced a revision of the Microsoft Store and the introduction of the Amazon Android app store.

Microsoft announced that they will directly introduce the Android application into Windows 11, and it can be downloaded from the new generation of Microsoft Store and run directly in Windows 11.

Microsoft said that it is introducing Android applications into Windows 11 through the connection to the Amazon Appstore and through Intel’s technology, and it supports some of the features of the Windows system. Microsoft also demonstrated running TikTok and other applications on Windows 11 at the event. In the Microsoft Store displayed by Microsoft, you can also see applications such as Ring, Yahoo Finance, Uber, Kindle, etc. However, it is not clear how many devices can support Windows 11 and Intel’s technology to run Android applications.

For many years, Microsoft has been making relevant attempts. Before the launch of Windows 10, Microsoft also said that it would list Android applications in the Microsoft Store, but in the end, Microsoft chose to persuade developers to adopt the UWP Windows platform. In addition, Microsoft also uses the Your Phone app as a way to bridge the gap between Android and Windows. However, this time Windows 11 natively supports Android applications. It may also be a response to running iOS applications on macOS after Apple launched the M1 chip.
This press conference is only Microsoft officially announced the Windows 11 system, so if you want to use the system, there is no other way except the leaked image file. According to the plan, Microsoft will still release the Windows 11 system in the fall, when the Windows 10 system can be directly upgraded for free without additional payment. But the good news is that Microsoft will release a beta version through the Windows Insider Program, so users can also experience the new version in advance.
