Windows 11 23H2 will support desktop app folders feature

Microsoft showed at an event that Windows 11 will support the desktop app folders feature, a feature similar to the iOS system’s automatic folders. For example, users can put Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Reddit in folders, and the folder name can be named Social Media.

But it is not clear how it works and whether it is similar to the start menu folder. It stands to reason that the system should automatically recognize and name the folder. It should be emphasized that this function is still a concept function and there is no guarantee that it will be released eventually. If Microsoft thinks it is unnecessary later, it may be abandoned. If it will not be deprecated, users of the Windows 11 development channel can experience it in advance. This feature belongs to the function of Windows 11 23H2. Interested users can pay attention to the subsequent version updates of the Windows 11 Insider Preview.
