Windows 10 “Your Phone” app has compatibility issues with it’s calling feature
Your phone is an application developed by Microsoft to improve the productivity of Windows 10. This application can connect to Android devices and synchronize various data on Android devices. At present, the application has provided functions including receiving and calling via a computer, viewing and sending text messages, viewing photos taken, and receiving Android notifications in real-time. These features make it very convenient for many users using Android devices, and they can basically operate the device remotely on the Windows 10 platform without taking out their phones. However, before Microsoft developed this application, Dell had developed a similar application, the application was only available on Dell desktops or laptops.
After Microsoft recently added a call-receiving function to Your Phone app, some Dell mobile phone assistant users found that the two mobile phone assistants conflict due to permission problems. The conflicting permissions are mainly the takeover of permissions during phone calls. Both apps will take over these permissions by default after installation, causing the application to fail to work. The solution is very simple, just uninstall Dell mobile connect, as long as they are not installed and used at the same time, there will be no conflict. However, as Microsoft continues to change Your Phone app now supports more and more functions, it is estimated that most of them will slowly switch from Dell Assistant to Your Phone app.
