Windows 10 version 2004 has been pushed to the Release Preview
If there is no accident, Microsoft will launch the official version of Windows 10 Version 2004 at the end of this month or early next month. This version is also known as the May 2020 Update.
Microsoft has disclosed very little or no public information about the release time of this version, but from the latest actions of Microsoft, the official version should be released soon.
Because this version has now been pushed to the Release Preview channel, and this channel is usually the channel for final testing before releasing the official version.
The release preview channel is the Windows 10 Build 19041.207 version, which is also a cumulative update of the beta version released by Microsoft earlier.
In view of the approaching release time, this version is likely to be the final version. Of course, if a major problem is found, Microsoft may continue to release new cumulative updates.
However, it does not matter to users who have installed Windows 10 Version 2004 before, and only need to install the latest update to complete the upgrade.
However, users who pursue stability recommend that they continue to use the old version. After all, the new version of Microsoft will always cause one or other problems.
If users want to get this version, they only need to go to “Settings -> Update & security -> Windows Insider Program -> Get started”, and then join the Release Preview channel.
It usually takes twenty-four hours for new devices to join the preview program to receive the new version, so checking for updates immediately after joining may not get a new version push.
