Windows 10 version 1809 is available to Enterprise users
After fixing most of the problems that may seriously affect users’ usage, Microsoft has already begun to push Windows 10 version 1809 on a large scale. Now, after evaluation, Microsoft believes that Windows 10 version 1809 is very stable, so it is also ready for enterprise-level users. The Windows 10 channel received by enterprise users is called the half-year channel, that is, the official version of the update received by the enterprise user is about half a year slower than the normal version. In half a year, Microsoft used normal users such as homes to conduct stability tests to ensure that it would not affect the use of most corporate users.
Microsoft said that they have collected new versions of feedback data from general consumers, computer manufacturers, independent software vendors, partners, and some commercial users. After evaluation, Microsoft believes that Windows 10 Version 1809 can be provided for commercial users, providing large-scale deployment for commercial users.
The versions used by business users are mainly Windows 10 Enterprise Edition and Windows 10 Education Edition, and Microsoft also updates the life support cycle. Since the previous Windows 10 Version 1809 had a serious problem and was withdrawn after the release, this support cycle starts from the re-release. That is, from November 13, 2018, Microsoft will provide a 30-month support period for this version. The final life support period is scheduled for May 13, 2021.
