Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise will reach End-Of-Support next month

According to the life cycle announcement, Microsoft will release the final security update for the Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise operating system on December 10, 2019, and then end the support. After the end of the support, Microsoft will no longer provide any updates for the operating system, even if Microsoft finds a security vulnerability, the company will not make updates for its repairs. Microsoft has already begun to remind users to migrate to Android or Apple devices.

Microsoft said the Windows 10 Mobile will receive a security update on December 10, and this update is the final security update for the operating system. The current update of the Windows 10 Mobile operating system is a fix for each component. After all, Microsoft has long been no longer supported in terms of functional updates. For example, in this month’s update, Microsoft addresses some of the flaws or security issues found in browsers, kernels, scripting engines, and virtualization through security updates. Updates released next month continue to be updated around such system components.

While Microsoft is abandoning users, many developers are still working hard. These developers have successfully ported the Windows 10 ARM version to the Lumia 950 device. This unofficial project is called WOA, with many developers involved, and has solved many problems such as making calls, sending text messages, and connecting to the Internet. At least running the ported version of the Lumia 950 for basic use is completely okay, and you can even install the cumulative update that Microsoft releases every month.
