Windows 10 calculator app has Compact Overlay mode

In March of this year, Microsoft announced the open-source Windows 10 calculator app, which means that anyone can contribute code to improve the application, and also help Microsoft evaluate the implementation of new features or user interface changes. Dave Grochoki, senior project manager for Windows Calculator and Notepad today, released the latest tweet, said that:

When the Windows 10 Creator was updated, Microsoft introduced the Compact Overlay mode for Windows 10 applications. However, this windowed mode is usually used to play video content, such as Movies & TV or Skype video chat. There are a lot of users on GitHub asking the calculator to get this improvement, and it seems that Microsoft is actively improving the calculator based on user feedback.

It is unclear when the feature will be officially open to the public, but I believe that Windows Insider members will be invited to test it in the near future.
