Windows 10 20H1 will have codenamed Vibranium

At the end of last year, Microsoft is seeking a unified code within the company, and these codes will be arranged according to the order and abbreviations of the periodic table. Such code names have been used in the cloud computing and hardware devices category in the Microsoft product line.

In Microsoft’s latest release of Windows 10 SDK Preview Build 18950, it can be seen that Microsoft generates code for each unreleased version. The Windows 10 Version 1909 (19H2) code, which is a small feature update, is called Vanadium, which is vanadium in the periodic table. The large-scale feature update for Windows 10 Version 2003 (20H1) released next spring is the fictitious metal element Vibranium.

However, Microsoft has not officially announced this news. From the time sorting point of view, the use of the year code is also easier for users to understand, so it is not clear whether Microsoft will eventually use such code.
