Western Digital launched WD Black SN750 SE NVMe SSD

Western Digital has launched a new product for the game-oriented black disk SSD series: WD BLACK SN750 SE NVMe SSD. From the name, it seems to be an upgraded version of the original black disk SN750. The biggest difference is that it adds support for PCIe Gen4. In fact, this SSD is more like a new product. In addition to the improved PCIe standard, the black disk SN750 SE is even closer to the blue disk SN 550.

Compared with the flagship black disk SN850, which also supports PCIe Gen4, the black disk SN750 SE will become an affordable alternative with lower power consumption. The black disk SN750 SE offers three capacities of 250GB, 500GB, and 1TB. The corresponding prices in the US are $54.99, $74.99, and $129.99.

The black disk SN750 SE should be a relatively mainstream product, but it is not a real substitute for the black disk SN750. It may be more suitable to compare with Samsung 980 in terms of positioning.
