Ubuntu 20.04 LTS is available for testing
The Ubuntu 20.04 LTS (Focal Fossa) daily build image is now available for download and testing. Ubuntu 20.04 is the 8th LTS version of Ubuntu and is scheduled for release on April 23 next year. Until the final stable release, a new system image, called Daily Build, will be built every day, and these images will eventually evolve to Ubuntu next long-term support version, 20.04 LTS.
Previously, only real-time images of the pending state were available on the Ubuntu CD image server, but since November 19, there is now a mirror of the current state, and the current state of the image has passed a series of automated tests. This is an important milestone in the development cycle.
Testers and developers can install the daily build version of the Current state image and use it as a rolling release, and experience all Ubuntu 20.04 updates before they reach the final release. In theory, once the Current daily build is installed, you can continue to install updates until the release.
