Ubisoft+ Subscription Service Comes to Microsoft’s Xbox Platform
Following last year’s announcement of the Ubisoft+ subscription service arriving on the PlayStation platform, Ubisoft has now declared its official launch on Microsoft’s Xbox platform.
Ubisoft+ has now entered the realm of the Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles, offering subscriptions at a monthly price of $17.99 (plus tax). Subscribers can access Ubisoft+ games on both PC through Ubisoft Connect and on the Xbox platform.
The Ubisoft+ subscription service currently features an array of flagship games, including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, The Division 2, and Far Cry 6. Cross-platform progress synchronization is available for select games. Ubisoft will continue to expand the Ubisoft+ catalog, incorporating new releases, abundant additional content, and classic Ubisoft titles.
“Partnering with Xbox to launch Ubisoft+ Multi Access on Xbox consoles enhances our subscription offering to provide more value and choice to our players,” said Ubisoft Senior Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Business Development, Chris Early. “Xbox console players now have access to our worlds through Ubisoft’s extensive game library.”
“Like us, Ubisoft strives to bring more games to more people, and today we’re accelerating that effort together,” said Sarah Bond, corporate vice president of creator experience and ecosystem at Microsoft. “By launching Ubisoft+ on Xbox, we’re presenting Xbox console players another vibrant catalogue to explore by subscription.“
