TP-Link launched Archer GX90 wireless router
TP-Link announced the launch of the Archer GX90 wireless router, which is a product optimized for e-sports players, with a speed reaching the AX 6600 level. Since the launch of 802.11ax/Wi-Fi 6, many wireless router manufacturers are more inclined to adopt a spider or octopus-like shape design. Probably this shape is even cooler.
The overall size of Archer GX90 is 212 × 212 × 51.8 mm. It is equipped with a quad-core processor with a frequency of 1.5 GHz. In addition, there are 3 co-slave processors to meet the needs of high-load work. In terms of wireless networks, it supports Wi-Fi 6, has three different frequency bands, and is equipped with 8 antennas, with a combined speed of up to 6579 Mbps. For a wired network, it is equipped with one 2.5Gbps WAN/LAN port, one gigabit WAN/LAN port, and three gigabit LAN ports. The wireless router also provides a USB 3.0 port and a USB 2.0 port, supports NTFS, exFAT, HFS+, and FAT32 formats, as well as Apple Time Machine, FTP server, media server, and Samba server functions.
Unlike many tri-band wireless routers, Archer GX90 provides a dedicated gaming frequency band with a speed of 4800 Mbps. In addition, it joins 4T4R technology and OFDMA technology, provides 4×4 MU-MIMO, supports 160 MHz bandwidth, and also has DFS automatic expansion of available channels. Users can also use TP-Link’s OneMesh equipment to form a mesh network and use TP-Link OneMesh products to cover the entire house without replacing existing equipment.
The TP-Link Archer GX90 is priced at $249.99.
