Thermaltake launches new ToughRAM D5 RGB series memory

Thermaltake has announced the launch of its new ToughRAM D5 RGB series memory. Initially showcased at CES 2023 earlier this year, the debut collection offers six color options: turquoise, racing green, regal gold, racing red, pearl white, and magical black. The memory features a distinctive “TT” form factor, embellished with aluminum heat spreaders and eight programmable RGB LEDs, controllable via the TT RGB Plus 2.0 software.

The updated TT RGB Plus software supports TOUGHRAM software, enabling users to monitor memory temperature, frequency, and performance in real time. By integrating the product with the TT RGB PLUS ecosystem, users can effortlessly synchronize RGB systems, crafting unique, personalized RGB themes and delivering vivid lighting effects alongside an immersive gaming experience.

Currently, the ToughRAM D5 RGB series memory is exclusively available in 32GB (2x 16GB) kits, with DDR5-5600 specifications, operating voltages between 1.1V and 1.25V, and timings of CL36-36-36-76. The memory is compatible with Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO technologies. These new modules employ rigorously selected, high-quality components, ensuring stable frequencies and performance. An integrated power management IC (PMIC) enhances power stability, while on-die ECC error correction mechanisms automatically rectify memory access errors for increased system stability and efficiency. Additionally, the memory utilizes a specially chosen 10-layer PCB and high-quality copper layers to create an optimal overclocking environment.

Thermaltake has not disclosed the pricing for the ToughRAM D5 RGB series memory or specific release dates.
