Thermalright Launches AS120 V2 CPU Cooler

Thermalright announces the launch of its new AS120 V2 CPU cooler. This ultra-slim single-tower CPU air cooler boasts a thermal dissipation capacity of 235W, signifying its compatibility with high-end CPUs while offering the advantage of low noise from its single fan.

According to TechPowerUp, the AS120 V2 CPU air cooler has overall dimensions of 120 mm x 48 mm x 154 mm, featuring a single-tower, single-fan design with a copper base and four 6mm heat pipes. The heat pipes make direct contact with the CPU, transferring heat to the aluminum fin module, which is topped with a die-cast metal plate. Compatible with Intel’s LGA115x/1200/1700 platforms and AMD’s AM4/AM5 platforms, the cooler meets the requirements of current mainstream platforms. Thanks to its compact size and optimized dimensions, it offers excellent compatibility with various computer cases.

The cooler is paired with a 120mm fan called the TC-C12C V2, measuring 120 mm x 120 mm x 25 mm. It features fluid dynamic bearings, a 4-pin PWM speed control interface, and a maximum speed of 1500 RPM. The fan offers a maximum airflow of 66.17 CFM, a maximum static pressure of 1.53 mmH2O, and an approximate noise level of 25.6 dBA. Thermalright also includes 2g of their TF4 thermal grease in the packaging, with a thermal conductivity of 9.5 W/mK.

Thermalright has yet to disclose the price and specific release date for the AS120 V2 CPU air cooler. However, based on the pricing of existing products, it is unlikely to be exorbitant.
