The newly Gmail designed interface mobile version and web version
Recently, Google’s redesigned mobile and web Gmail interface was leaked online. It is reported that this new interface design will be announced at Cloud Next 20 conference.
The first is the new Gmail interface for the mobile version, and a new navigation bar is added below, namely Mail, Chat, Room, and Meet.
The web version of Gmail has also a new design. Unlike the mobile version, the bottom navigation bar on the mobile version has been moved to the sidebar to display. After clicking the icon, the function will be displayed on the right side.
Users can also directly view and edit files in Google Docs in the web version of Gmail. They can work, reply to emails, and hold video conferences with colleagues. The overall function is very similar to Microsoft Teams.
These new features should only be available to users who use Google Suite services. The brand new Gmail is no longer like a pure mail software but has become an office software that can provide online office services. For remote office software like Teams, after all, it is still unclear when the epidemic will end, so the online office market will definitely continue to expand in the future.
