The first Intel foldable smartphone rendered image
Intel is currently preparing the company’s first foldable computer, but Intel has had to delay launching the device due to Windows 10X development delays.
At the same time, Intel is also developing a foldable smartphone. This smartphone uses the same Android operating system as Microsoft’s Surface Duo.
With regard to the news that Intel’s foldable smartphones are still in the patent area, the Korean Intellectual Property Office has recently announced related patents submitted by Intel.
From the patent point of view, Intel’s foldable smartphone is folded in half outwards. The expanded screen size can be directly used as a tablet.
There is also a physical button at the bottom of the screen that can be used to expand the device. If folded in half, there are screens on both sides that can be used to display and operate the content.
From the renderings introduced by the designer, this device is still very thin, and even if it is folded in half, it does not look particularly heavy.
Of course, this rendering image is the Intel patents. This does not mean that Intel will definitely launch the device. After all, Intel is still a new manufacturer in terms of smartphones.
