The Best and Worst Gold Farming Classes in WoW TBC Classic

Some classes in Burning Crusade Classic just excel more when it comes to farming gold.

Many changes were made when in The Burning Crusade Classic when compared to WoW Classic. One of the things that players expected to change in TBC is the balance between the classes and how they’ll be farming WoW TBC Classic Gold from there. Gold is the most essential currency in the entirety of World of Warcraft as it’s what gives players an “advantage” in the game. Granted, almost anyone can grind for WoW TBC gold for themselves since it’s a free world, but not many can accumulate the same amount. Some players are miles ahead of the others due to certain circumstances such as starting earlier or having a “better” class for gold farming. To give those folks a helping hand, here are some of the best classes that they should utilize to farm gold and in turn get better WoW TBC Classic items. We’ll also be showing you the classes that should be avoided as they are the worst ones to get gold quickly.

1. Druid

The Druid is one of the best classes in the game due to it being a great all-rounder. By being versatile, the class has essentially become a mold that players can form themselves to make the ultimate character they’re going for. Blizzard has buffed a lot of the classes in preparation for the release of TBC back then, and the Druid was part of that process. It saw a lot of improvements in the expansion which made it incredibly popular among players. There are all sorts of builds that can be done for the Druid class as well. For the damage-dealing lovers, they can simply go with the Feral Druid route which can also have an off-tank role when participating in a raid. There’s the Bear Tank role for those who want to hold aggro on packs – this type of build gradually gets better the further a player progresses through the expansion. And finally, there’s the Restoration Druid build which arguably has the best specs. This results in the Druid class is one of the best WoW TBC Classic Gold farmers. There’s also its free flight form which makes it easy to Gas Clouds with the Engineering profession and gives them the ability to fly through farming routes with relative ease.

2. Paladin

It’s nigh impossible to talk about some of the classes to farm gold without at least mentioning the Paladin. Since the release of Burning Crusade Classic, all of the specs of the Paladin have become much more viable compared to WoW Classic. Paladins are one of the best tanks to use when doing raids or dungeons as they’re able to dedicate themselves to push and receive all of the aggro from bosses and other small monsters. The Paladin is also one of the best buff classes in the game so far. The Prot Paladin build, to be specific, has the benefit of being highly desired when doing dungeons. As such, the class is well-known as being the best raw gold farmer to date.

3. Mage

In terms of looking for a consistent class, the Mage is the optimal choice. Despite Blizzard implementing the AoE cap for Burning Crusade Classic, in reality, it did nothing to hinder the class. The Mage is exceptionally great for boosting other players as well which is a huge plus for those that are thinking of bringing a friend along for the ride. Through the expansions, the Mage has remained as a strong DPS caster throughout, resulting in all of the specs in the game being viable for it. Besides being good for PvP purposes, the Mage is a class that’s more than decent for farming gold. While it’s not better when compared to the Paladin and the Druid, it’s perfect for players who want to farm gold efficiently while at the same time be able to excel in other activities.

4. Priest

Although the Priest excels in healing playstyles, it’s not all that great when farming gold. The Priest class is hailed for being able to mix and match various styles of healing while at the same time be a mean-killing machine. The Shadow Priest build, in particular, is one of the specs in the class that received a huge buff. This resulted in them being jokingly called a “mana battery” since they can grant party members mana which improves their uptime when doing fights. Since the Priest is primarily a healer, it’s overall not a great class to do some farming unless they have a group to help them.

Wrap Up

If players want to get the most out of farming WoW TBC Classic gold without wasting too much time, then they should stick with the big three (Druid, Paladin, Mage) to have an easier time. Note that what we’ve talked about is strictly about WoW TBC gold farming only – this doesn’t mean that the classes that were mentioned above would necessarily be great for Arena, PvP, or PvE-related activities.
