During the recent State of Play livestream, Sony unveiled a 25-minute gameplay video for “Final Fantasy XVI,” detailing the game’s storyline, world, and combat information, as well as revealing new summon creature specifics.

“Final Fantasy XVI,” the latest installment in the “Final Fantasy” series, is set to launch on June 22nd of this year. The narrative revolves around the development of Clive Rosfield, with players assuming the role of Clive and utilizing the formidable power of summoned creatures to overcome their tragic destiny.

Details disclosed include Clive Rosfield’s secret base, where players can craft items using gathered materials or undergo training in preparation for upcoming battles. Players can also undertake various side quests and “monster hunting” missions, challenging increasingly powerful adversaries.

Monster hunting missions can be accepted from a dangerous monster bulletin board, where players will also encounter a familiar face from the series—Moogle!

Additionally, the new details introduce storyteller Halboclatus and military scholar Vivian. As for military scholar Vivian, she is well-versed in the international situation of Valisthea and will provide guidance to Clive at different stages of the story.
