Sony released the new Bravia XR series TV with Mini LED panel
At the CES 2022 exhibition, Sony held a new TV product launch conference online and launched many 2022 Bravia XR series TVs. Among them, Z9K and X95K are two products that adopt Mini LED technology, becoming the first batch of TVs under Sony to apply this display technology.
The Bravia XR series TV released by Sony this time is divided into five models, namely the flagship Z9K (85-inch/75-inch), X95K (85 inches/75 inches/65 inches), A95K (65 inches), A80K (77 inches/65 inches/55 inches), X90K (85 inches/75 inches/65 inches/55 inches). These products are equipped with Sony XR chips. Among them, Z9K uses 8K resolution Mini LED panels, X95K uses 4K resolution Mini LED panels, and A95K and A80K uses 4K resolution QD-OLED panels.
Z9K and X95K combine the XR chip with the XR dynamic backlight system master version to control the Mini LED backlight in a more precise way, showing better dynamic range and dark performance, with richer picture details, it also supports multi-channel screen sound field, etc., bringing users an immersive audio-visual enjoyment.
For a long time, Sony’s TVs have provided good support for the PlayStation platform, regardless of whether the user uses the PlayStation 5 console to play games or watch Blu-ray discs, these Bravia XR series TVs can automatically adjust the TV parameters and optimize the picture, showing a visual presentation that matches the content. Its interfaces that comply with the HDMI 2.1 specification can support 4K/120FPS, bringing a better gaming experience.
