Microsoft adds new features to Snip&Sketch
Microsoft has provided a new screenshot tool, Snip&Sketch in Windows 10. This tool replaced the traditional screenshot tool in the operating system. The company is now working hard to bring more functionality to this new application. It can quickly launch the screenshot utility through the fast operation of the operation centre, or press the PrtScn button, which is very convenient.
According to Microsoft engineer Jen Gentleman, the latest version introduces a delayed screen capture feature in Snip&Sketch, which allows you to capture screenshots using a predefined delay (3 or 10 seconds), which was already in the old screenshot tool in previous versions of Windows.
However, in older versions of Snip&Sketch, you must first launch the application before you can configure the delay time from the new menu. There is no delay option in the toolbar when you click the quick action button.
The latest version also introduces a screencast option in the jumplist. You can take screenshots or select delays in the field by right-clicking the “Screenshots and Sketch” icon on the taskbar.
You can try all of the above by updating to the latest version of the app. At the time of this writing, the app version is 10.1807.2286.0.
