Sipeed launched the Lichee Pi 4A, An Android tablet with RISC-V processor

Owing to its integration with the RISC-V processor, this innovation has garnered significant attention. According to insights from Liliputing, Sipeed recently unveiled an assortment of products crafted around the RISC-V SoM LM4A (the core board of Lichee Pi 4A, furnished with a processor, memory, and eMMC). This array includes cluster computers, tablets, and mini notebooks, with the Lichee Pad 4A standing out as a 10.1-inch Android tablet.
Per details from Sipeed’s official portal, the Lichee Pad 4A operates on an Alibaba TH1520 chip processor (4 x Xuantie C910 CPU cores @ 2.5 GHz). It is supplemented with a 16GB LPDDR4X memory and a 128GB eMMC, categorizing it as the pinnacle variant within the RISC-V SoM LM4A spectrum.
The device boasts a 10.1-inch LCD screen, possessing a resolution of 1920×1200. On the photography front, it features dual 5MP cameras, one front-facing and another rear. Sonically, the tablet is equipped with dual speakers and microphones, and a 3.5mm jack remains an integral inclusion.
In terms of I/O capabilities, the Lichee Pad 4A surpasses conventional Android tablets. It houses 2 USB 3.0 Type-A ports, 1 USB Type-C, 1 mini HDMI, 1 microSD card slot, and a SIM card slot. Remarkably, it also incorporates an NGFF slot. Concerning power, the device is fortified with an 8000mAh battery.
Beyond its support for the Android 13 operating system, the tablet is also compatible with the Debian Linux distribution.
