Samsung will be equipped with Exynos chipset and AMD’s mRDNA Graphics on the Galaxy A series in the future
According to Wccftech reports, in addition to the Galaxy S series, Samsung will also use Exynos series SoCs on Galaxy A series phones in the future, and GPUs will also use mRDNA architecture. Since the Galaxy A series is oriented to the mainstream consumer market and has a wider application group, it is very likely that the game performance of the mobile platform will be raised to a new level. Of course, this does not mean that the Galaxy A series and the flagship Galaxy S series use the same SoC. Samsung will simplify it, reduce the configuration specifications, and performance will also decrease.
Even if the configuration specifications are reduced, the Exynos series SoCs on the Galaxy A series phones will not decrease too much in performance. There have been rumors that Samsung plans to introduce optical image stabilization for more Galaxy A series products. If the GPU also uses the mRDNA architecture, the overall performance will be greatly improved, which will give Samsung mobile phones an advantage in the competition in the mid-range market. At present, the sales volume of the Galaxy A series is not low, and it may be even better in the future.
