Samsung to launch true borderless TV at CES 2020 exhibition
South Korean media reported that Samsung will launch a true 65-inch borderless TV at the CES 2020 show to steal the limelight of other TVs. A person who was closely involved in the project said: “Unlike other” frameless TVs “where frames actually exist, this product is truly frameless. Samsung has become the first company in the world to achieve this extreme design.” Since the design requires the display panel to be soldered directly to the host, Samsung only intends to offer a 65-inch version.
Today, the German website 4kFilme found two advertising posters that appeared to be this TV. The picture shows a borderless TV that can be hung on the wall, and there is a small black cuboid device below the TV, the latter seems to be an optional external Soundbar Q800T. Samsung is planning to use the “experience the future power across national borders” as the marketing slogan.
Last October, Samsung applied for the Zero Bezel trademark, and perhaps the product will be named Zero Bezel. Let’s “sit back and relax” and patiently look forward to this top-tier TV from the first-tier manufacturers. At present, the only thing we can be absolutely sure of is “the price will not be cheap.”
