Samsung launches Galaxy Book Flex 5G with the Intel Evo platform certificate
We have already introduced in detail Intel’s latest Intel EVO high-end certification program. Currently, manufacturers are gradually launching certified-EVO laptops.
For example, MSI has launched certified-EVO 14- and 15-inch notebook computers, and Samsung this time has launched the Galaxy Book Flex convertible that supports 5G networks. This variant should also be the first device supporting 5G networks in the current Intel EVO certification program.
This variant of Samsung launched is improved on the basis of the Galaxy Book Flex variant, such as equipped with Intel’s 11th-generation processor and supporting 5G.
Its hardware is equipped with Intel’s 11th generation processor, supports WiFi 6 network, supports 5G network, supports Bluetooth 5.1, supports Thunderbolt 4 interface.
In terms of memory, this model can be equipped with up to 16GB LPDDR4x version of memory, and in terms of solid-state drives, up to 512GB of NVMe high-speed solid-state drives can be optional.
The screen is a 13.3-inch 1920 x 1080 pixel touch screen, and other interfaces include a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB-C/USB-A interface. What’s interesting is that Samsung also equips the device with an externally facing 13 million pixel camera.
In terms of battery, the device uses a 69.7 Wh battery. According to the Intel certification standard, its real-world use time is at least 9 hours.
The company has not announced the time to market and price of the Galaxy Book Flex 5G version, but the price is definitely higher than the Galaxy Book Flex.
