Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S23 FE by the end of this year

Twitter user @OnLeaks has recently released images believed to depict the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, which is projected to launch prior to the close of this year. This device serves as Samsung’s mid-range to high-end offering for the latter half of the year, in addition to their new foldable smartphone.

The Galaxy S23 FE purportedly boasts a 6.4-inch AMOLED display panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz, accommodates an under-display fingerprint sensor, and is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. In certain regions, there’s the possibility of adopting Samsung’s proprietary Exynos 2200 processor instead.

Other specifications include either 6GB or 8GB of RAM, as well as a choice between 128GB or 256GB of storage capacity. The primary camera features a triple-lens design, anticipated to include an ultra-wide lens and a telephoto lens, bearing similarities to the more flush camera module design of the Galaxy S23 series.

It remains uncertain when Samsung intends to launch the Galaxy S23 FE. Currently, preparations are underway for an Unpacked event in Seoul, South Korea, where the new Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 are set to be unveiled, along with the expected introduction of a new smartwatch device.
