Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra Specs Leak: New S-Pen, Faster Chipset
According to MySmartPrice, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra’s S-Pen has received FCC certification, and some specifications of the device have also been revealed.
From the information that has been leaked, it appears that this generation’s S-Pen bears no significant aesthetic differences from the S-Pen integrated into the previous flagship smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. It features a button on the left side and a clickable top button. The leaked details indicate that the S-Pen operates within a frequency range of 2402-2480MHz, and its total length is 104.64 millimeters.
There has been a substantial amount of information leaked about the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra recently. Performance data for this model has surfaced in the Geekbench database, revealing the CPU architecture to include 1 core at 3.30 GHz, 3 cores at 3.15 GHz, 2 cores at 2.96 GHz, and 2 cores at 2.27 GHz. This confirms that the new model’s SoC will be the third-generation Snapdragon 8 mobile platform. The best CPU performance scores recorded are 2234 for single-core and 6807 for multi-core, representing a 15% and 35% improvement, respectively, over the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The GPU performance score reached a remarkable 1713, an 85% improvement compared to the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Additionally, the benchmark page reveals that the model is equipped with 8GB of memory. Considering the configuration of the Galaxy S23 Ultra and our previous reports, it is highly likely that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will be available in both 8GB and 12GB memory variants. The device runs on Android 14.
Regarding the camera configuration, mysmartprice speculates that the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra will be equipped with a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. In terms of battery life and charging, it will feature a 5000mAh battery and support 45W fast charging. Interestingly, mysmartprice also claims that the model will include a titanium metal frame.
As for the release date of the Galaxy S24 series, there have been reports that Samsung plans to hold a launch event on January 17, 2024, in San Jose, California.
