Samsung Galaxy S20 will use 120Hz refresh rate screen

As early as last November, some product analysts speculated that Samsung may equip the next-generation Galaxy S series phones with a 120Hz refresh rate screen. After the release of the Exynos 990 processor that will be carried on the Galaxy S20, the previous speculation is almost certain. This is completely correct, as the processor supports displays with high refresh rates.

Sammobile media just reported that “a highly trusted source” indicates that the news is correct, which means that we can relax and wait for Samsung to release this Galaxy S20 with a 120 Hz refresh rate screen.

Another well-known leaker, Ice Universe, also recently posted that the Galaxy S20 will be equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate screen.

At the same time, we also found the “120Hz display mode” option in a hidden menu in the One UI 2.0 beta, but since Samsung’s current mobile phones do not yet have a screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, we can only wait for the Galaxy S20 to activate this function.
