RTX 3070 Ti 16GB sample card appeared: uses GDDR6 video memory

Recently, RTX 4080 12GB was cut off by NVIDIA, and then reborn as RTX 4070 Ti. In fact, there are many things cut off by NVIDIA in the era of RTX 30, including RTX 3080 20GB, RTX 3070 16GB, and RTX 3070 Ti 16GB, and these things all have sample cards, but they were later canceled for various reasons.

MEGAsizeGPU revealed a sample card that he doesn’t know if it is NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti 16GB or RTX 3070 16GB. Because the design of this card is exactly the same as the RTX 3070, and the back of the graphics card is also printed with RTX 3070, GPU-Z recognizes it as RTX 3070 Ti.

The two cooling fans of this sample card are on the front of the graphics card, and the design of the RTX 3070 Ti Founder Edition is the same as the RTX 3080, with a fan on the front and back.

GPU-Z recognizes that it is RTX 3070 Ti, using GA104 (LHR) GPU, which has 6144 CUDA units like RTX 3070 Ti. The base clock is 1590MHz, and the boost clock is 1800MHz, which are 25MHz and 30MHz higher than the RTX 3070 Ti respectively. The memory interface width is still 256bit, but it has changed from 8GB GDDR6X to 16GB GDDR6, the equivalent data frequency of memory has been reduced from 19Gbps to 16Gbps, and the bandwidth has been reduced by 96GB/s. It looks like a mixture of RTX 3070 Ti and RTX 3070.

This card can use the current NVIDIA driver normally, so it should work normally, but he did not release any benchmark.,
