Razer launched a new Blade 17 gaming laptop

Razer launched a new 2021 Razer Blade 17 gaming laptop, equipped with a more powerful CPU and GPU, upgraded webcam, and anti-fouling coating. With many improvements, the new Blade 17 gamebook gives users such as gamers and creators new choices and even becomes a substitute for desktop computers.

The new Blade 17 gaming notebook uses Intel 11th generation H series mobile processors, including Core i7-11800H or Core i9-11900H processors, with 8 cores and 16 threads, Core i7-11800H has a base frequency of 2.3 GHz and a turbo frequency of 4.6 GHz, and Core i9-11900H has a base frequency of 2.5 GHz and a turbo frequency of 4.9 GHz. This means that users have a significant increase in speed in games and multi-threaded workloads.

Optional NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060/RTX 3070/RTX 3080 mobile graphics cards, covering the entire mid-to-high-end product line. There are three different options for the screen, 1080p@360Hz, 1440p@165Hz, and 4K@120Hz touch screen version.

In addition to the built-in 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD, this model also has an additional M.2 slot for expansion and supports up to 32GB RAM+2TB storage space. The new Blade 17 gaming notebook uses an anti-fouling coating to further reduce stains on the external chassis after daily use. Equipped with an improved full HD 1080p webcam and the number of dedicated microphones has been increased from two to four, making video calls a breeze. Razer has also improved the touchpad, which has better anti-palm touch features and provides Wi-Fi 6E, USB-C power supply, Razer Chroma RGB backlight per button, and four speakers that support THX Spatial Audio.

Razer said that the GPU TGP of the 2021 Blade 17 gaming notebook is set to 130W, and the CPU PL1 is set to 65W. Equipped with an SD card reader, Thunderbolt 4 ports on both sides, three USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, HDMI 2.1, Ethernet port, and headphone jack, the interface is very rich. Its overall dimensions are 395 x 260 x 19.9 mm and its weight is 2.75 kg.
