Qualcomm has unveiled its Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 Mobile Platform, thereby enriching the Snapdragon 7 series matrix with a more diverse hierarchy consisting of 7+, 7, and 7s, meticulously tailored to satiate the multifaceted demands of users. Concurrently, Xiaomi has heralded that their Redmi Note 13 Pro will be equipped with this avant-garde System on Chip (SoC).

The nascent Snapdragon 7s platform is meticulously crafted using a 4nm process. The CPU embraces a bifurcated octa-core architecture, comprising four performance cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and four efficiency cores resonating at 1.95 GHz. The integrated Adreno GPU is proficient in powering FHD+ displays at a refreshing rate of 144Hz. This platform can seamlessly accommodate 12GB of LPDDR5-3200 memory, alongside UFS 4.0 flash storage. Embedded within is the Qualcomm Spectra 12-bit ISP, capable of capturing breathtaking photographs up to 200 megapixels and recording videos in 4K at 30fps, complemented by an AI noise-reduction feature. Furthermore, it is compliant with USB-C and USB 3.1 standards.

This revolutionary mobile platform harnesses the prowess of the Snapdragon X62 5G modem and radio frequency system, delivering blistering download speeds up to 2.9Gbps and sterling efficiency, whilst also supporting 5G millimeter waves. Additionally, it incorporates the FastConnect 6700 mobile connectivity system; supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2; furnishes precise geolocation capabilities through QZSS, Galileo, BeiDou, NavIC, GLONASS, and GPS, with L1/L5 dual-frequency positioning; and endorses the integrated Qualcomm aptX’s Snapdragon Sound, offering an impeccable, lossless music streaming experience and lag-free gaming audio.

Xiaomi is poised to officially launch the Redmi Note 13 Pro series smartphones on September 21, 2023, with anticipatory teasers already in circulation. These novel devices will brandish a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 image sensor, augmented with OIS + EIS dual stabilization. They also feature In-Sensor Zoom, facilitating 2x and 4x optical lossless zoom capabilities. Additionally, they champion the Smart ISO Pro for dynamic visuals, merging high and low ISO tiers to render a more expansive dynamic range.
