Pin Drop Heard ‘Round the World: Ai Pin Shipments Begin March 2024!
Revealed in November’s launch event and slated for early 2024 delivery, the screenless artificial intelligence wearable device Ai Pin, crafted by former Apple interface designer, has recently confirmed that the initial wave of customers who placed orders will start receiving their products from March 2024.
The Ai Pin, a screenless AI wearable device designed by former Apple interface designer, will begin shipping in March of next year, available in three color options, starting at $699.
Created by Humane, founded by former Apple employees and interface designers Imran Chaudhri and Bethany Bongiorno, Ai Pin operates on two battery sets. It features a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a depth-sensing camera. The device is worn using a clip and lacks a screen, with all interactions facilitated through a microphone or a built-in projection feature for a virtual keyboard.
Like other AI-powered products, Ai Pin boasts a deepening understanding of user needs through interaction, offering increasingly personalized recommendations.
Paired with Ai Pin’s subscription service, network services will be provided by T-Mobile. The device will integrate AI models from OpenAI or Microsoft, allowing users to engage in natural spoken language interactions through its built-in microphone. It supports various AI services, such as answering user queries or translating spoken content into different languages. Additionally, its camera can activate computer vision analysis to assess the nutritional value of photographed food.
After the first batch of orders starts shipping in March 2024, Humane has confirmed that subsequent orders will be dispatched in sequence. Ai Pin is now available for order through its official website, offering Eclipse Black and Moonlight White versions at $699, and a Spring Equinox Chrome variant at $799.
