Philips announces Evnia 42M2N8900 and 34M2C8600 OLED gaming monitors

Philips has announced the release of its new OLED gaming monitors, the Evnia 42M2N8900 and Evnia 34M2C8600. The prices are 1699 Euros and 1299 Euros.

Evnia 34M2C8600 is a 34-inch QD-OLED screen, which combines OLED panels and quantum dot (QD) technology to achieve top-notch colors and vibrant visual effects. Its curvature is 1800R, resolution is 3440 x 1440, 10bit color depth, response time is 0.1ms, brightness is 450 nits, the refresh rate is adjustable from 48Hz to 175Hz, with 97.8% Adobe RGB color space coverage, and has been certified by DisplayHDR True Black 400. It provides two HDMI 2.0 interfaces, but it can only achieve a refresh rate of 100Hz, and a refresh rate of 175Hz can be achieved through a DisplayPort 1.4 interface or a USB Type-C interface.

Evnia 34M2C8600 has two built-in 5W speakers and supports DTS sound effects. Featuring a stand with adjustable height, tilt, and swivel options, the monitor also features Ambiglow technology that enhances on-screen content and creates ambient light on the back for a unique viewing experience. In addition, it also has a USB Type-A hub and supports the KVM function.

Evnia 42M2N8900 uses LG’s 42-inch OLED panel with a resolution of 3840 x 2160, 10bit color depth, a response time of 0.1ms, and a brightness of 450 nits. The refresh rate can reach 138Hz, the color accuracy Delta E is less than 2, the DCI-P3 color gamut is 98.5%, the NTSC color gamut is 110.3%, the sRGB color gamut is 131.3%, the Adobe RGB color gamut is 93.6%, and supports HDR10. It provides two HDMI 2.1 interfaces, as well as a DisplayPort 1.4 interface and a USB Type-C interface.
Evnia 34M2C8600 has two built-in 10W speakers and supports DTS sound effects. The same stand with adjustable height, tilt, and swivel options also features Ambiglow technology and a USB Type-A hub for KVM functionality.
