ChatGPT can be said to be one of the hottest topics in recent months. After all, this chatbot is indeed much “smarter” than its predecessors. In addition to chatting, it can also make drafts and write codes. In a sense, it can be regarded as improving productivity.

According to a report from
Windows Central, ChatGPT reached 100 million users in January this year. Although this number is indeed good, it is not directly linked to profitability. At present, the only paid product of ChatGPT is ChatGPT Plus, which is under testing. A paid subscription service, users can pay $20 per month to get faster ChatGPT answer speed and experience some new features.
At the same time, Windows Central also conducted a
survey on ChatGPT users’ willingness to pay. The results show that more than half (54.4%) of users said they would not pay anything for ChatGPT, only 12.53% of users said they were willing to pay monthly, and only 4% of users said they were willing to pay for each use. For OpenAI, this result is not very satisfactory.
