NVIDIA unveiled the new GTX 1660 Super and GTX 1650 Super graphics cards
NVIDIA today announced two new graphics cards: the GTX 1660 Super and the GTX 1650 Super. Since then, the “Super” suffix has also been dropped from the RTX high-end card to the GTX mid-end card. The specific specifications of the two graphics cards in the market have been circulating for a long time, and there has not been much new information flowing out in the past week.
As we have guessed, the new graphics card with the “Super” suffix is to sell the performance of the Ti-class graphics card at the price of the mid-range graphics card. This time, NVIDIA will use the GTX 1660 Super as the successor to the GTX 1060, which is priced at $229 and is on sale today. The price and specifications of the GTX 1650 Super will be announced later.
Of course, NVIDIA does not have “real-time ray tracing” for these two new graphics cards. This feature is still only available on RTX series graphics cards and RTX Super series graphics cards. But NVIDIA says the GTX 1660 Super is twice as powerful as the GTX 1060 and at least 50% higher than the GTX 1660.
