NVIDIA cloud gaming service, GeForce NOW is out of beta
NVIDIA announced that its GeForce NOW cloud gaming service is out of beta and officially launched. The working principle of GeForce NOW is that players connect their devices to a computer equipped with a GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card in the NVIDIA Cloud data center. When players choose a game, After that, the computer at NVIDIA Center will use Nvidia visual technology to render the game, and then it will return the high-definition video to the player’s device. At present, it supports up to 1080P 60Fps image quality options.
GeForce NOW currently supports Windows, Mac, NVIDIA Shield, and Android platforms, and will support Chrome OS later this year. In terms of price, GeForce NOW currently offers two options: “free” and “founder” account.
Free: Use the queuing system, you can only use it for one hour after each connection, but because there is no limit on the number of queues, you can join the queuing sequence again after the end of an hour to re-queue.
Founder: A monthly payment system that provides three months of free experience services. At the same time, it will only cost $4.99 per month in 2020. The “Founder” does not need to queue.
GeForce NOW currently supports games on platforms such as Steam and Epic (of course you still need to purchase the corresponding game for your platform account first), and also provides more than 30 free games.
