Noctua NH-D15 Launch Imminent! Updated Roadmap Confirms

Last month, Austrian radiator manufacturer Noctua updated its product roadmap for 2024, which notably included the anticipated launch of the next-generation NH-D15 air cooler scheduled for the second quarter of 2024. Additionally, the release of their next-generation 140mm fan was postponed from the first to the second quarter. Less than two months later, Noctua has once again revised its 2024 product roadmap.

According to the latest updates, the next generation NH-D15 air cooler is expected to launch within this quarter without further delays, much to the delight of enthusiasts. The NH-L12Sx77 air cooler was released a few days ago, and Noctua has hinted at an “Undisclosed Project” set to be revealed this quarter. Meanwhile, the next-generation 140mm fan faces another delay, now pushed back to the third quarter. The slim 60mm fan, initially scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2023, has also been postponed to the fourth quarter of 2024. The “chromax.black” version of the next-generation 140mm fan, designed in a sleek all-black finish for those who prefer it over the traditional beige and brown, has been delayed by a quarter and is now expected in the first quarter of 2025.

Reports at the end of last year indicated that due to deficiencies in the Sterrox liquid crystal polymer material used, Noctua decided to delay the launch of the next-generation NH-D15 air cooler and 140mm fan. It appears that the issues have been partially resolved, and the NH-D15 air cooler is still progressing according to the initial plans.

The current roadmap reflects ongoing plans, but further delays are possible due to additional research and development, fine-tuning, production capacity, or coordination with other projects.
