MSI launches Creator 17 laptop with Mini LED backlighting for designers
For many years, MSI, which has been building game equipment for gamers, also brought a creator-oriented laptop “Creator 17” at CES 2020. Creator 17 is the world ’s first laptop with a Mini LED display. What we need to note here is that the Mini LED display is worse than the traditional LED display, but it is not as good as the OLED display. This is found in notebooks, and currently, only high-end, expensive notebooks are equipped with OLED displays. However, the price of the Mini LED display is a bit cheaper than the OLED display, so it can become an alternative to a laptop computer equipped with an OLED display.
This 17.3-inch screen from Creator 17 is actually not bad. It is the world’s first laptop that complies with the HDR 1000 standard, with a resolution of 4K, a maximum brightness of 1000 nits, and a color gamut of 100% Covering the DCI-P3 color gamut, it can provide excellent image display and color rendering, which is a very good choice for creators.
In terms of configuration, Creator 17 is equipped with a tenth-generation Intel i9 processor and a fingerprint reader built into the touchpad.
Although the quality of Creator 17 ’s screen hardware is good, Creator 17 ’s body design is not good-looking. It gives me a rough feel of the products of the industrial era. There is no sense of refinement.
